Having a personal value proposition will serve you in many ways. One of them being when you meet new people, and they ask, so, what do you do?
Having a compelling and powerful statement, like your value proposition, to tell them precisely what you do, how, and why you do it will most likely spark their interest and make them want to hear more.
People are looking for results and transformation. That is what your statement will tell people; it’ll let them know about the effects and changes you are creating, because of the things you do.

Is Pretty Much Like Making A Homemade Wine sauce

I usually say, that creating your value proposition is pretty much like making a homemade wine sauce. It will take time to get the flavors just right. You add the ingredients, taste it, then add a little more, taste it add more and keep doing it until it tastes just like you want it to.
It’s the same process you’re going through when you write your value proposition. It’s taken me a few months to get my value statement to taste just right.

Creating your statement is a valuable process because it forces you to reflect on the things you do and why you do them. To me, working with my statement has given me much more clarity on my professional mission, and I’m much more connected to it.
I believe when we get to do what we love professionally, we have more energy to give to the essential things in our life. Like our family, the people that we are close to and every other aspect you find to be important. It’s like Simon Sinek says;
When you work hard for something you don’t believe in, it’s called stress. When you work hard at something you love, it’s called passion.
